Been an age since I've seen one of ol' Wesley's films. This has a head start with me -- filmmakers, you can do worse than setting everything in an old-timey Central European town -- but the precision of GBH is exhausting. It seems like a petty thing to get worked up about, but every shot is just begging you to remark upon how clever it is. Still enjoyed it quite a bit, I just wish the film could have just relaxed a bit and stopped demanding that I marvel.

Very enjoyable black comedy that takes on issues of modern alienation and dehumanization in its absurdity. Good cast and unsettlingly funny.
