One of the funniest movies I’ve had the pleasure of seeing, especially with all the references to horror films and pop culture in general. There’s an overt sexual humor that can often times be too overpowering, but they went places that I don’t particularly think most comedy films dare to venture, so at least the risks they took were bold.

The twist of the movie is what really sells the ending and what’s really fantastic is how well they’re able…

The best I can say is that it was a decent animated film. It was far too short and the pacing was terrible, as most of the time flew by within minutes and we barely got enough of Bruce as Batman. It may be Year One after all, but there’s a surprising lack of Batman as Gordon is more of the main character for the film.

    Boring. Inept. Pointless.

This film is just so fucking terrible. Giving this movie a full one star is more than this abysmal mess deserves, but it’s portrayal of Gendo was really good here and I give credit to it. The rest of the characters are ruined, though.

This is an example of character assassination, taking the brilliance of the show and morphing it into a Frankenstein‘s monster of fan service and fan fiction using Evangelion’s characters and new annoying characters.…

This whole movie is fucking bizarre. Ari Aster really likes to make movies about naked satanic cultists but the film at least supplies incredible cinematography and some interesting symbolic connections with the deaths.

The story honestly seems too confusing and muddled and some people praise this as being through the eyes of the sacrificial lambs. It’s certainly creepy but there’s a lack of story and more discovery of something sinister happening, but I think this movie really hinges on us…
