    the way this dealt with memory, putting us in anthony's position, making us believe smth in one scene - what his daughter looks like, the painting hanging in the living room etc. - and then presenting us with another reality, is simply sublime. it feels like maybeeee i should rewatch it to properly appreciate it, but even so, i'm gonna think about it for the longest time.

    FARGO the tv show at its weakest is better than most shows at their best. FARGO the show is also better at its weakest than most movies are at their best and i'm including the original movie, too. i should love this because i love the coens, smart thrillers, dark humour, and this cast, but for some reason, i can't. it's been seven years since i first saw it and my opinion still stands: good, but overrated. i'm sorry!
