This movie makes me so happy. The visuals are unbelievable. The music was amazing too “surface pressure” shook me to the core I wasn’t expecting that at all. The whole Dos oruguitas sequence made me weep so hard and we don’t talk about Bruno deserves that #1 spot imo. The resolution was a little rushed but overall I enjoyed this **immensely**
I liked this, the whole Christmas vibe was comforting, it’s actually fairly funny and the cast is good. But omg she needs to escape that family asap everyone is so toxic. And her girlfriend really isn’t the best I didn’t feel her redemption at all. I disliked her throughout except like the first 4 minutes. Kristen Stewart’s character really needed to get out and get with Aubrey Plaza’s character instead.
Was in a mental funk and I really needed something fun and refreshing and holy heck this was every bit as good as people say. This is the most uplifting movie I’ve seen in a while no question.
There’s just so much heart in it. And in the characters. I heard someone say Jack Black is when you max out charisma in a game character or something, and that sentiment is pretty evident in this movie. He was really made…
This movie was just pure happiness! A very delightful portrayal of childlike wonder and found family.
One of Pixar’s more light hearted, casual movies but the standard themes of dreams, family and friendship were still present (and shown in a very beautiful way might I add). The town was sooo charming and in some ways feels like a character in the story. The villain was somewhat one dimensional but honestly I’m not complaining, he was still entertaining. Massimo and Alberto were so strangely heartwarming together and Luca’s parents were hilarious I love them. Just a really solid family movie with some very lovable characters.
