Good movie about the genderization of emotional labor and the replication of that paradigm into the new AIs. Diverse representation of masculine characters. (besides? Obvs, the questions of what make us humans and the data vs emotions issues)
Technically speaking, a very good movie. I found the interpretations very good and I especially liked the photography. The problem? The white-working-class-man narrative.
The movie shows a lot ( i mean, A LOT!) of scenes where the protagonist’s family is speaking about the immigrant community, talking about how they are lazy and there are too much of then, etc… The argument that the movie pretends do be realistic and so it simply shows what Portuguese families think about the immigrant…
