    As a baby, I'd scream for the Thriller video to play on MTV.

    As a teenager and even into my 20s, I staunchly defended Michael, thinking people just didn't understand him because he was "weird."

    After watching this, however, the only way to hold onto doubt is to be in denial. I feel so sorry for all the boys who ever had the misfortune to stay at the Neverland Ranch.

    George Clooney plays yet another character who uses his charisma and quick wits to convince a small group of folks to help him in his plan to win back his woman before it's too late. Aside from that, the rest of the film plays out like what you would expect from a Coen Brothers movie, which is fine if you're a fan of their work. I, however - with one or two exceptions - am not.

    Second time seeing this, and again I give it 2.5 stars. For some reason I enjoyed it, despite the fact that there are really no likable characters here. I think it's also a weird mix to have an entirely white cast and a significantly black soundtrack. Perhaps it's the comaraderie that I liked? But nothing about this group gives me the warm and fuzzies. In fact, for some reason I have an almost vitriolic reaction to the JoBeth Williams/Tom Berenger…
