Wall E’s most iconic part is without a doubt the first 30 minutes and Wall E, Eve, and their relationship will be remembered for generations. I haven’t seen this movie in 12 years but I remember so much of that first 30 minutes. As for the rest of the movie, there’s of course a lot of really fun scenes and AUTO is a clear homage to Hal 9000 but for me didn’t feel too different enough. And I’d say that the big message of the movie feels a little forced and parts of the finale feels rushed. Other than that Wall E is another slam dunk from Pixar and a visual delight.
