"My god... Why?"
"I don't know."
A gem of an early-era slasher. It's generic from end to end, but it's got likeable teens (Or actors in their 30s), an unpolished look, and a fun end of the summer feel. It holds things close to the vest for a while, but it makes up for it with red herring jokes and clever suspense sequences. The unhurried pace and lived-in atmosphere give it a BLACK CHRISTMAS kind of vibe until the murderathon climax that's pure FRIDAY THE 13TH. There's even a late-in-the-game exploding head!
