How have I been sleeping on this marvelous monster? It's just what I needed to forgive Sony after those Venom trainwrecks.
I'm seriously blown away! So many payoffs... The colors, the action, THE STORY! Although I never read the ultimate Spider-Man trades this is obviously the closest film to ever represent a comic. I honestly don't have the words this morning to do this film justice but it deserves 5 dicks and another watch.

I first thought everyone paled in comparison to Venom who was funny, sweet, ignorant and more articulate than Tom Hardy for the most; untill I discovered that Tom Hardy is also Venom... I didn't know he couldn't mumble.
This is a huge improvement but another missed opportunity just the same.

I'll start by saying I liked it! Florence Pugh is absolutely hilarious and the action sequences memorably exciting, but why now? The only reasons for further butchering Black Widow's origin story is the shameless introduction to Yelena Belova (who'll assume the Black Widow mantle) and possibly Secretary Ross who'll become the Red Hulk trying to cure his aliment; that or ScarJo had a wicked holding deal with Disney. Still enjoyable but nowhere near the impact it would've had 7 years ago.

Is there a Joss Whedon cut that's shorter?
It was a fun popcorn zombie flick that was VERY action oriented. If you take it as that, it was fine; if you expect more character development and a realistic depiction of a zombie dystopian future... maybe Army of the Dead is not for you. I'm always surprised by Dave Bautista's comic timing and seemingly effortless ability to command a scene. Overall, I was hoping for more.
