Ginger Baker is a true rock star (or jazz star if you don't want your ass kicked by him). He's eccentric by nature and never forced and completely unpredictable, and a master of his instrument. And that's always a good starting point for a documentary. The film opens notoriously with the subject hitting the director's face with his cane so he starts bleeding, and it goes on from there. Baker is also sad character who has a tendency to burn every bridge to people he have encountered. The people he sees as his nearest friends, barely sees him as an acquaintance.
