This is a very boring low budget film. I love cold war era stuff, but as far as nuclear paranoia films go, I've seen better.

I was pleasantly surprised. It's a neat concept and it explores the idea of a spooky beach that ages you really fast. The comedic moments also helped sell some of the silly parts of the film, but overall it's very solid. I like the concept and execution and thought how they played with the visuals really worked with what they were going for.

I do see how the ending might not land for some people, but I liked it. It's goofy but fun.

This movie is a lot like the 1995 Tank Girl. It’s super campy and you can tell the studio wanted to change it to make it a bit more serious. It’s extremely silly and fun but it doesn’t quite fully commit to it. Some characters are kinda lame/poorly directed. The editing makes the fast narrative pace feel sluggish, and score is super serious when at moments it feels like it’s fighting a joke.

Not a terrible movie but it’s definitely a hot mess.

Edit: I did like it though. It’s a fun time.

I went into this movie blind and had a pretty fun time. It’s intense, funny, beautiful, and gross. At times uncomfortable but never failed to hold my attention. The ending of Twitter thread story isn’t really present at the end of the film but outside of that, it’s a great time.
