This should also be tagged horror.

I absolutely love Shiva Baby, this being my fourth watch. I think the casting is as perfect as casting can be for a film, with Rachel Sennott really standing out in the lead role. I appreciate the dry sense of humor and how the tension keeps building in the film. The score is absolutely perfect and along with the direction and editing which contribute to the overall suffocating feeling of the movie. Also, the ending is wonderful.

It is, for me, a perfect film.

Instead of 80% talking and 20% fighting... hear me out.... what if you did the opposite?

I almost feel guilty giving this 3 stars and anyone that hates this is fully within their rights. The dialogue is garbage and the parts with humans should almost just be summarized by silent film title cards instead of making…

"Can you have power over yourself if you give up any amount of authority to something else?" -Hal,

Overall I liked this, with parts of it blowing my mind, but it's a tale of a fun and bizarre script that is executed in a lifeless way and that undermines its full potential. Casting matters and for me this is an example of a cast that just doesn't work. It's not even that the acting is bad it's just all…

It's almost like you can't trust the media.

Ace in the Hole is a well made film about addiction to fame and the acceptance of morally horrendous behavior for the sake of such fame. Billy Wilder's dialogue is snappy as always and the film looks good I just didn't find anything new or challenging about the story and its message. I really liked it but feel like it's…

    This is legitimately scary.

We destroyed a woman for no real reason. I have to admit that I naively bought into the "Britney is just crazy and horrible" media circus. I also have been guilty of saying that if someone is a celebrity they deserve what they get when it comes to media scrutiny. I was definitely wrong.

    This is a well…

This movie is fine but its target demographic is 4-10 year olds that aren't scaredy cats.

10 Better Things to do Than Critically Evaluate this as an Adult:
