Jerrod Carmichael: Love at the Store

Jerrod Carmichael: Love at the Store ★★★½

Low-key comedic musings that would be shocking if they weren’t delivered with such a delicious sense of subversive irony.

I wish I could watch Spike Lee watching this set for the first time. One wonders what bits he’d cackle at. Perhaps one about his fellow New York filmmaker (“You know how much Hollywood values Woody Allen? *pause* One daughter.”).
