The most brilliant piece of this film is that it covers a huge of amount of ground with two lines: “Do not touch her face,” immediately followed by the fastest aside ever written about how she had nappies pressed into her face when she younger.
That’s it. That’s the only verbal explanation of the trauma. Little else is revealed, maybe parts of her home life with short scenes with her mother, but excruciating details about her upbringing…
