I was visiting Los Angeles in 1999 and saw this at a test screening - so I had no idea what movie I was about to see.
That's my review. I wanted to explain why I saw this movie.

Tarantino is so good that even Jamie Fox can't ruin this movie.
Hilarious, bloody, intense, epic. Exactly what you'd expect from a slave movie / Western from Quentin Tarantino. I had high expectations and this film met them. Always a good year when there's a film from this writer/director to remind us how good movies can be - and should be.
