But. The infographics at the end of the movie seemingly takes the stance that the real-life murder was actually caused by the devil and not a deeply troubled young man who was in dire need of treatment. Arte and his victim were failed by a community that would rather believe in demonic possession than acknowledge mental illness. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
Much, much better than expected.
Franco's performance is a shocking highlight. Its incredibly funny while remaining incredibly real and authentic.
All around a very very funny movie, though a crowd of 1000 The Room fans probably helped.
