A perfect companion piece to the first movie. While the first one dealt with perceptions, this one is precisely and meticulously constructed to talk about the vicious cycle of prejudice and violence towards outcast communities. It’s haunting, sometimes difficult to watch but very necessary.
This movie is love in a bottle and indubitably Tarantino’s less compromised work to date. With nothing to prove, the guy just handed the audience his greatest fantasy and a movie lover’s wet dream. Who cares about accuracy? Who cares about reality? A vision is there, it is compelling and it made me so happy throughout. So glad I had the honor of seeing it on a big screen with an audience.
