“How long have we been on this rock? Five weeks? Two days? Where are we?”
Right as I was starting with Letterboxd back in April 2020, I was watching films like a mad man. Don’t blame me, it was the peak of quarantine and not much could be made. I would watch one or two movies a day, sometimes three. Mostly movies that had been on my watchlist for a while, or films I’ve heard great things about.
Then one day, at about 11AM I started scrolling through the Foreign Films category on Netflix, I…
No, just fucking no. This movie sucks and infuriates me so much.
Let’s get some obvious points out of the way before I can deep dive in the shitload that is this movie.
The movie is generic as fuck, cinematography is okay, editing is okay, score is okay, the acting is okay. Actually Rosamund Pike’s performance is the most competent thing about this movie and the fact that she stars in it may be the reason people are drawn into…
Many thoughts after finally watching it, don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll just let myself go:
-First and foremost, Daniel Craig you deserve 5 stars bro! He is the constant in all the films and he always gives everything. Thank you for what I consider the coolest and best Bond to date.
-Ana de Armas deserves the best supporting actress Oscar for the glorious 10 minutes she’s in ( a joke of course, but still she rules).
