For better or worse, depending on your temperament, the culmination of Nolan's career-long vision and something of a necessary followup to the artistic step forward that was Interstellar and the unfortunate regression that was Dunkirk. This was really the only film Nolan could have made next. If you'll indulge me, I'm reminded most of Wavelength watching this, but I'll get into it later. For those averse to Nolan this is only an escalation of his purported worst tendencies, but of course that is precisely why I enjoyed it. I'll come back to this.
