jimmyoc’s review published on Letterboxd:
Asylum-level nonsense. Willis and Grillo don’t elevate it. Grillo is barely in it and Willis doesn’t even try; indeed, this is the most bored I have ever seen him look. The script is incomprehensible at times, it tries to make commentary on colonisation but it’s surface level and lifeless - and it’s full of cliches too: Willis’s grizzled, shamed veteran is first met drinking and fighting in a bar; characters telling each other that they won’t leave them to die. Dull storyline, with a final act that seems very similar to The Avengers, and a score that sounds like someone covering the Fury Road soundtrack from memory.
