the communist manifesto raining over venice beach
Watching this made me feel something I almost never get when watching films, and I realised that Almodóvar’s always give me. He uses such sweet humour and such a compassionate view on life, people, and memories, and this one just feels like one of his best accomplishments. So warm, touching and so important as a queer filmmakers voice, and I’m so happy to finally understand that not all straight-perspective hallmark films are for me. So inspirational, need a second watch soon.
