    Rancho Deluxe

    ★★★★★

Third Man Records, 16mm, television cut

Stays great no matter how many times I watch it, one of the best films of the 70s.

    Dusty and Sweets McGee

    ★★★★★

An unflinching gaze into the abyss formed from the failures of 1960's American idealism, and thus a sort of spiritual sequel to GIMME SHELTER.

It's no coincidence that Larry Clark's TULSA was published the same year. Wonder if Clark and Mutrux have ever met?

One of the greatest, and most unjustly overlooked films ever made.
Could use a few more shots of needles piercing veins though.
