My fourth TIFF film. Saw it at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
It feels longer than 113 minutes, but I didn‘t mind, cause I loved it!
It‘s a slow burn, but I was super invested. The cinematography is absolutely amazing, showcasing the gorgeous Italian setting with long, lingering observing shots.
This film reminded me a lot of Force Majeure. The similarities are very obvious in fact.
Both are great films!! I‘m very glad I saw this at TIFF, now I‘m not so disappointed about not catching the Spencer premiere in the cinema across the road.
This is Agnieszka Woszczynska’s feature debut. Amazing! Can‘t wait to see more of her work!
