20th Century Fox. DVD
A colossal misfire horror that has some of the worst performances and script I've seen in any big budget contemporary film. Performances are truly atrocious with Whalberg and Deschanel just throwing away any sort of instinct or fucks they give and comatose themselves through. The horror aspect and gore are quite strong and something of a highlight but used in a laughable manner. The twist while not ridiculous rides along through a terrible film and is the last bullet to be shot and ultimately miss the target by a mile. Re-edited into a comedy and it could exceed all expectations.
