It's been almost thirty years since Spike Lee’s fireball of politically and emotionally charged African American activism with Do the Right Thing. And in all those years in which the film has had to brew and manifest in peoples lives within the real world condemnation of racial prejudice and bigotry has sadly gone aloof. Lee returns to his activist roots and hits a hard, entertaining and compelling companion piece to his 1989 magnum-opus and while the world has another Spike Lee film, the only hope is that the man should not have to come back for round three.
