I don't know how to rate this. If I were to judge it based on the story, how well it is executed, and how much I responded to it emotionally, I'd give this a fairly low rating. But, as an incredibly interesting portrait of its director (and, by extension, the many people who I'm sure share a similar mindset with him), this film is really engaging. The last 10 minutes of this are terrible. A lot of stuff before that is surprisingly silly and fun. Almost every line of dialogue is very bad. This has more heart than any of the other Snyder movies I’ve seen (which admittedly isn’t saying much). Superman has the funniest line I’ve heard since Tenet’s “Including my son.” I would gladly spend more time with these characters. I hope I never see Jared Leto’s Joker again. My favorite Zack Snyder movie.
