Bob Dylan's Southland Tales.

To be honest I could take or leave Dylan's music, which might be for the best considering the response actual Dylan fans seem to have to this film. What surprised me the most was how much this reminded me of the Alan Rudolph or digital-era Hal Hartley films that I love, not that I'm complaining any.

Overripe dialogue for its own sake, performances signifying nothing so much as their own performativity. The type of weird shit I live for, in other words.
