Okay, so, awesomely entertaining but was certainly meant for a younger demographic than myself. With that being said, the special effects were really incredible and there were a lot of laughs and fun to be had throughout the entirety of this pseudo-Herculesesque epic. My only qualm is that Joel’s message at the end— which for the viewer, is meant to mean don’t be afraid and get out and live your life how you want and with out settling— is going to get a lot of people killed…. I mean, look at some of those people leaving their bunkers, there is no way they’re running from some of those monsters; maybe save your Tim Robbins’ motivational stuff for the healthy and young Joel— Lucinda and Eno ain’t up for it!
