Ok few things:
Let’s assume that it’s meant to serve as a parody of wealthy NY elites trying to solve problems and hilariously failing, while also parodying bigoted Americans. The message of course being that the people who drive progress are those that are actually on the ground in the community (Emma).
Working on that assumption (I’m not sure if it’s right but lets believe it for a moment), I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was over the top musical theater…
