Nakul’s review published on Letterboxd:
re-watched The Descent for the first time since I was a kid. It holds up scarily well. At its best, this movie is a stress test. A near-perfect horror movie. It’s incredibly well done — extremely claustrophobic and anxiety-inducing, even before the creatures show up. Actually the claustrophobic cave sequences were scarier than the creatures, just having people trapped in the cave was terrifying to me. Most of the movie had me cringing and gasping and the edge-of-the-seat tension is sustained to the very last second.
