    Absolutely brilliant tale of a couple of massive arseholes and a woman who is too good for both of them. Told in a Rashomon style but we are left with no doubt as to which is the actual truth. All building to the eponymous duel.

    I full well expected the actual dual to disappoint, however I'm not sure I actually took a breathe throughout it (I must have though, I didn't pass out). The way Scott tells us this story…

    Hooptober 8 Part 23 From People of Colour 2 (of 3)

    I think that the ever expanding "Horror as a metaphor" genre when it hits can be really really effective. Some lauded examples in recent years didn't work for quite so well, such as Relic and others really have hit the spot. This one falls into the latter.

    Hooptober 8 Part 22 From my birth year 1 (of 2)

    Really fun and pretty great creature feature. This is a great example of something that is both of it's time and yet hasn't aged horribly, mostly down to the very solid effects work on the worms. An eclectic cast of characters from all over the town really add to this monster movie too. I can totally see how this film would spawn a boatload of sub-par made for TV sequels

    I was hyper-sceptical of how they were going to bring an end to Craig's time as Bond and do it justice.
