🎄Ian Curran🎄’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a delightful movie! I know opinions can differ on Wes Anderson—his style isn't for everyone. But Royal Tenenbaums and Grand Budapest are modern classics.
An underrated aspect of this movie is the comedy. Im not just talking about the dialogue and one liners—they’re great don't get me wrong. But the visual gags and physical comedy are Chaplin and Keaton-esque.
I know this movie won 4 Oscars, but it still feels under-recognised due to the absence of acting nominations. Fiennes and Brody should have been nominated in the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor categories respectively.
