One of the more suspenseful docs I have seen since Free Solo, and definitely one which will likely allow the viewer to experience a wide range of emotions while watching.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire run time despite knowing the conclusion at the outset. Never a good sign when one of the principal players in a doc is doing his interviews wearing a prison uniform, and usually the longer it takes to explain his circumstances, the worse it ends up being.

This doc provides a mix of an interesting and notable sports achievement based story with some horrifically heartbreaking true crime through surprisingly candid interviews with all those involved.

While not always agreeing with the things D.C. says or the way he chooses to say them, I usually appreciate his honesty. There were still portions of this that made me feel uncomfortable and at times this felt more like a mix of part mea culpa, and part defense of past actions, instead of a comedy show.
