I did not expect to have nearly as much fun with this movie as I did. I was tempted to re-watch it today while I had dinner it was so entertaining. The action was brutal, really well choreographed, and also super funny. In fact the whole movie is really funny which was a huge surprise for me as I did not expect any of the humor we got from this movie. Its a simple plot about a villain trying to get revenge but I thought it was a lot smarter than that in its set up. The whole suburban dad snapping and accidentally doing something stupid causing the whole movie to happen.
Another thing I loved is because our lead has snapped he wants to take on as many guys as he can. And theres not annoying wife or girlfriend telling him not to the whole time. She's on board with whatever he does and he wants them to come after him. He is as the point where he wants to take out as many people as he can and its awesome. Bob Odenkirk is great in this role and was perfect for this character. He fits the suburban dad and super ruthless killer really well. He can switch so easily and be so funny. Overall Nobody was a massive surprise. Sure I knew it would be great and super fun but on this level and is surpassed all of my expectations.
🔜 Hopefully Star Trek
🔙 Mystery Men
