Albie Hay’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was the film that made Spielberg a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood, and Ford one of the most sought-after actors out there. Add to that the timeless score by John Williams, and you have one of the most enduring adventure film ever made. This was also the film that introduced the world to Indiana Jones - and what could have done better? From the iconic opening scene (which adds nothing to the plot but provides invaluable insight into the character of Jones, proving that actions speak louder than words) through to its nail-biting finale that wouldn't be out of place in a horror film, with seemingly non-stop action sequences and gags along the way, this is one of the few Hollywood blockbusters that deserves to be called a must-see.
