Hampus Wersén’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ve been meaning to watch The Red Shoes of quote some time, and I had some spare time this morning... So I finally did.
I thought it was great! This is definitely one of the best looking films i’ve ever seen. The cinematography is on point! The dance sequences were absolutely fantastic, I can’t even imagine the work that went into the choreography. The dance sequences also kind of told a story of their own, which I really liked.
I did think though that some of the characters weren’t that good or compelling. Towards the third act I definitely got a bit uninterested and uninvested in the story. But other than that I thought it was great!
