Howard Lang’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film has been on my watchlist forever, now I'm glad I finally was able to get ahold of it. Pretty incredible how Black and White filmmaking was so highly stylized at this time, it's easily dismissed if you don't admire the full shot from time to time. Orson's influence seeps so deep into every ounce of this film, but it's only improved by the multifaceted work of every single person involved. Truly a powerhouse of classic proportions, and a shaper of the noir genre that we've all come to love (and constantly yearn to get it's proper justice).
I want to go to Vienna
