    Monsieur Hulot's Holiday

It’s a harmless bit of physical comedy like I couldn’t not like it

    Meshes of the Afternoon

we had a surprise live 3-man band scoring this film as it played in the uni cinema and then they just casually mentioned afterwards how they were improvising it as they went along like I feel honoured to have been a witness to something like that

Just know if I had watched this when I was little it would have constantly been on repeat in my house

  • The Last Black Man in San Francisco

The Last Black Man in San Francisco

Credit to everybody involved in the making of this film but fuck me Emile Mosseri’s score was heavenly and moved me to tears

  • No Time to Die

    No Time to Die

My dad grew up with the Bond movies and books and I’ve never seen him as moved by a film as I did today with No Time To Die. I think there’s no better way really to end your time portraying a beloved character than by being able to elicit these types of reactions from the dedicated fans - I mean the film even got me going and I had only seen two of Craig’s outings previously - so whilst not all of it may have been to my liking, I think Daniel Craig and the rest of the cast and crew did an incredible job

  • if....

Kinda bizarre listening to people try and explain how the main female character was actually really significant and important in the story when she is only in like 4 scenes and isn’t even given a name (the character is credited as “the girl”) like

I’m going to be stuck in a YouTube rabbit hole of explanation videos for days aren’t I

  • Sicario

My fourth Villeneuve movie to celebrate the man’s birthday and he is still yet to let me down. Possibly tempting fate here but I’m SO excited for dune

  • Scream

Nah watching this film with people who have never seen it before is so fun

  • The Wages of Fear

    The Wages of Fear

too much stress for a tuesday evening

  • The Green Knight

    The Green Knight

The uk release of this film has been an interesting journey but I’m so glad I waited to watch it on the big screen. Dev Patel alone is enough to make me love a movie but the cinematography and the score were just luscious. A STUNNING movie

  • Spider-Man 2

    Spider-Man 2

That little transition from Spider-Man swinging to the reflection of it in Doc Ock’s glasses is one of the sexiest things I’ve seen
