Gitesh Deshmukh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Mindful about the fact that this is gonna test my patience,I willingly progressed to watch Chantal
Akerman's acclaimed magnus opus and I'm glad I did. This is up there with 2001 as the most slowest film I've ever seen.
Among the dozens of long takes, the hypnotic dish washing resonated with me the most. It brilliantly captured the mundanity of routine.
A film which mostly looks still takes the imminent turn towards the end followed by another Still sequence that speak volumes.
