I love Guy Richie because he’s so damn good at balancing intricate stories, with fun snappy dialogue and memorable characters. He respects his audience enough not to dumb the plot down to the point of being boring. He keeps things fresh and interesting the whole time. You don’t know who’s double crossing who or how a scene might play out from a different perspective until he doubles back and gives the audience the clues we need through clever editing. It’s proof that modern action movies don’t need to be mindless.
This was like Oceans 11 mixed with Heat. I had fun with it.
