It's taken me some time to realize, but I finally found the issue with The Monsterverse, all three films don't understand where the point should be. So here, while the characters of the film still have issues(Granted not as badly as the three previous movies). I can say that was not an issue here given that the humans were not the point in this particular Monster film. The film knew where the point was, and that point was front and center and its bloody fantastic. The action, the music, the cinematography, it all understands what the point is, and lives up to it. So Overall, while Godzilla Vs. Kong is not perfect, it is a film that understands its point, and lives up to it.
