This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This slightly underwhelming (in places) showcase of how a person perceives and experiences time could have been 4.5 stars if it wasn’t for the last half hour or so. I can appreciate the choreography and beauty of the final scenes since the music matched it very well but up until the conclusion, with everything developing so well, the lack of an acknowledgement of what had been happening on this journey for me just didn’t land properly. This will definitely split…
I Lost My Body (Ja’i perdu mon corps)
Having finally rewatched this beautiful and tragic piece of art it remains in my top 10 without a doubt.
The music, animation and cinematography are more than unique and I would very much like to inject this film into my veins.
I love so many things about it it’s impossible to write any kind of a structured interview, all I can say is watch it you won’t be disappointed.
Haven’t watched it with the English audio but looking forward to hearing what Dev Patel can bring to Naoufel.
