Recovering Son of the Mask addict

Watching this film takes you through a lifetime, and yet the moments you spend with it seem fleeting. You see the world and story not through a characters drive, nor through a desire to find more, but just through a deep connection that this film makes with you.
This is the kind of film where I realise the whole rating out of five is less of my actual thoughts and just a short hand for how it hit me.
Is this really 5 stars? I don’t know, maybe, maybe not.
