Okay so I went to go see this today and I was looking through the end credits, and it listed the actor that played Upton Sinclair (in one scene, mostly facing away from the camera, in mostly darkness) as Bill Nye?!?!? Can anyone else who's seen this confirm if it is or is not the Science Guy himself randomly in this movie??
Oh also I really enjoyed it! Oldman and Seyfried were both really good, the screenplay is snappy and…
I think my experience with this film - one whose entire premise centers around the continuous movement of the camera throughout a singular space - was simultaneously enhanced and lessened by the fact that I watched it immediately after Roy Andersson's Living trilogy - a trilogy whose premise centers around the lack of any movement of the camera in a serious of vignettes of spaces literally built around the camera's frame.
Makes for an interesting quadruple feature for sure, if you want to feel both awed and depressed by ~6 hours of cinema at once.
