Tenet is an exciting, visceral, and mind-bending action-thriller that puts a focus on practical effects and huge-scale spectacle over character and script.
The score by Ludwig Goransson is another great one to add to Nolan’s collection of absolute gems from Dunkirk to Interstellar.
The cinematography is always appealing and the film has a pretty similar look to that of Inception, though looks unique enough to stand on its own.
We don’t learn much about the lead character and at times the villain can come across as cartoonish, but on the whole this is a complex, intriguing, and daring movie, and I recommend that you go see it on the biggest, loudest screen possible (so long as it’s safe to do so).
