How beautifully authentic in its execution.
I love how they set up the plot that everyone would consider to be one of their whimsical romantic fantasies (meeting a person who you instantly had a connection with in a foreign country and spending a day talking about everything and nothing with them) to be so mundane. And maybe that's way it's so ironically magical. You'd think it's not something that usually happens, but then you see this movie about two random stangers from two different worlds match so seamlessly, and you're enchanted. It dances between the lines of chance encounters and fate, of what-ifs and why-nots, without being too sappy or sugary or forcibly-introspective.
