Michael Køge’s review published on Letterboxd:
I appreciate the found footage aspect. It works to some degree. But nothing really happens in this film. Maybe modern horror tropes ruined the experience, because we’re so used to how a horror film is presented today. Because nothing happens.
They walk around in the forest and loose their mind looking for this dumb witch that never shows up. I get that it’s the point, but horror films ruined me. I was scared when I had to be, but the rest of the time I was pretty bored and annoyed about the female lead. And let’s talk about her. She’s so obnoxious and annoying for the majority of the runtime. I had no sympathy for her!
Disappointed is probably the best word to describe my feelings for this. I’m sure if I saw this 10 years ago I would feel different, but I didn’t, so I don’t.
