    I don't know why I gave it a 3 out of 5 last time because this film is a pure delight. Maybe it's because I felt it was Brooklyn Accents: The Movie. But who cares when this film is as delightful as a brick oven Italian pizza.

    Oh, and Olympia Dukakis was an acting marvel whose Oscar win for Best Supporting Actress is one of the category's best wins ever. She will be dearly missed.

    Normally, I don't get personal in my Letterboxd reviews, but it was also a very triggering experience, giving me flashbacks of living with my mom's ex-husband. Wasn't a psychopath like Powell, but still someone who charmed his way into our home life before he became mentally abusive, making me believe that him making me miserable was my own doing. Even…

    Good but with a GREAT film lying in there somewhere. A Freudian drama within a blockbuster canvas. Has some killer action sequences and A-game performances from the main acting quartet of Gadot, Pine, Pascal, and Wiig. But still unnecessarily long with an anti-climactic third act.

    A visual marvel, a strong acting showcase for Frances McDormand, and a poignant yet assured telling of the aftermath of an economic collapse all rolled into one.

    Also, I'll leave this review with one word: Swankie. A name that'll hopefully remembered in the Best Supporting Actress race.
