    Like most of Shyamalan's movies, this is strange and endlessly fascinating, even if it doesn't entirely work. The premise is engaging and quite scary, touching on the themes of aging and mortality that you'd expect going in. What makes the movies so interesting though is how Shyamalan executes the premise.     An instant favorite. This movie is really funny and satirical while also being pretty bleak, and Gilliam does an incredible job at balancing those tones. It's also just amazing to look at. The cinematography and the way the camera moves are mesmerizing, and the production design is so creative and intriguing. I've really never seen anything like this. Just terrific, through and through.
