Sneakers ★★★½

Enjoyable enough, but slow, and disjointed. They needed to iron out some of the wrinkles that slow the film down.

Stellar cast, but not much done with them.

Feels like a major influence on Mission Impossible 96'

Actually hits on some relevant topics to today's world, but unfortunately it's just a few lines of dialogue, and not major themes in the movie.

The reliance on David Strathairn's blind savant character seems to be as a result of Rain Man four years earlier. 90s audiences were getting prepped for Gump to show up and rock their world.

There's a serious Horner flourish near the end.

In summation, it's worth a poke, but level expectations.
